7 Reasons Why Every Pilot Should Fly For Young Eagles

This year EAA will hit the 2 million mark for Young Eagles flown; it's an awesome program to get involved in. Here are 7 reasons you'll love flying as a Young Eagles pilot.

1) You never know what kind of plane you might fly kids around in. This past weekend, Kyle flew over 30 Young Eagles in this Pilatus PC-12!

2) You'll learn to put new personal limits on yourself when you fly with someone else's child in the plane with you.

3) There's nothing comparable to seeing the reaction of a Young Eagle on their first ever flight.

6) Sometimes you'll land yourself a ride in one of the attending aircraft. Nick rode in a T-6 the past weekend!

7) You might be the reason a kid chooses to become a pilot. It was true for me, and it's a story shared in common by many pilots.

This past weekend, EAA Chapters 380 and 1342 flew over 75 kids during a fly-in rally in Grafton, North Dakota.
