Vote: Is Flying To Space Worth The Risk?

As pilots, we've pretty much conquered flight at or below 51,000 feet. But when you start going higher, it's a completely different ballgame.

The recent Virgin Galactic crash is a reminder of how hard flying to space really is. But even though it's a dangerous business, proponents say the rewards of one day making space flight as routine as a flight to LAX are worth it.
