Could A TV Screen Ever Replace An Airplane Window? Vote!

You've may have heard of the Spike S-512, a supersonic business jet that could take you from New York to London in just three hours.

You could say that supersonic travel's nothing new - the Concorde already pioneered that space. What is interesting about this aircraft, though, is its windows.

There are none.

Instead, the S-512 will use tiny cameras outside the aircraft to display panoramas on screens enveloping the inside of the passenger cabin. The concept could be breathtaking - but you don't get to look out of a real window.

This evoked a mixed bag of responses from our team, ranging from "This is the dumbest idea ever and I hate it" (from a window seat fan) to "I think it's the biggest window seat ever!" (From an aisle seat fan.)

So - what do you think? Is this the best window seat ever, or is there no true substitute for the real thing? Vote and comment!
