    Awesome! You don't need to wear a parachute if you're receiving spin training from a CFI, because the maneuver is required by FAR Part 61 for a certificate or rating.  AC 61-17C explains that since the maneuver is required for a certificate or rating, a CFI and student don't need to wear a parachute when training on this maneuver - even if the student isn't training toward a specific certificate or rating.
