7 Runway Incursions Caught On Camera

Runway incursions are a major focus area for the FAA and NTSB. Have any of these happened to you?

1) With over 52 million views, this video demonstrates just how big of a problem runway incursions can be.

2) Runway incursions can be caused by ground vehicles too. Check out this near-miss between an airport ops car and an Embraer 145 regional jet.

3) What happens when a regional jet crosses the runway in front of a landing 747?

4) You're in the flare at slow speed and a C152 rolls across the runway right in front of you. What do you do?

5) It might not be a runway "incursion," but spending a long time stopped at the end of the runway can cause problems, too.

6) Nordo (no-radio) traffic can be a big problem at non-towered airfields.

7) Have you ever had traffic pull onto the runway for takeoff when you're on short final?

Where have you seen a runway incursion happen? Tell us about it in the comments below.
