NTG receives over $800,000 in orders for April
NTG, Inc. announced on Friday that it received over $800,000 in orders from multiple customers in April for its Pipeline Watchdog remote monitoring system. The system, built in partnership with BoldMethod, transmits data from remote sensors on oil, gas, and water pipelines to NTG’s data center via the GSM cellular and Inmarsat D+ satellite networks. Customers obtain their pipeline integrity data via NTG’s Pipeline Watchdog Secure Web Monitor. These communications technologies enable customers to monitor pipelines anywhere in the world from their computers.
"We are excited about NTG customers' response to the new Pipeline Watchdog remote monitoring system", said Aleks Udris, partner at BoldMethod. “NTG takes advantage of GSM and satellite communications networks to provide global monitoring coverage. Their units have been engineered to fit specific cathodic protection applications; however, software and hardware functionality has been structured to allow rapid development of models for other applications."
NTG, Inc., headquartered in Olathe, Kansas, develops remote monitoring units for the pipeline cathodic protection industry. They are held by Elecsys, Inc. (Charts).
