UND Piper Seminole We love giving back – and our customers love to get involved as well. That’s why we started the BoldMethod Multi-Engine Instructor Scholarship at the University of North Dakota. We offer a contribution on our software maintenance contracts – you get software development and we donate cash to the scholarship. It’s one of the best ways we can use our skills to give back.

Why aviation? We learned how to communicate (and most importantly, listen) during our careers as flight instructors. We discovered how to think out of the box, build enthusiasm, and … handle stress. In fact, we earned our first software dollar in the aviation industry, and still develop applications there today. Why the University of North Dakota? It’s the leading collegiate aviation program in the world, training pilots, air traffic controllers and airport managers. And yes, we’re alumni…

As for the scholarship, many students reach the end of their collegiate careers without the finances to earn a Multi-Engine rating on their instructor certificate. Without one, they often can’t build the time to fly at an airline. Our scholarship targets innovative, forward thinking students – giving them a way to reach their goals. Who knows, maybe they’ll be piloting your flight one day.

If you’re not a customer, but want to get involved contact us at 1 (218) 230-3004 or the UND Aerospace Foundation at 1 (701) 777-4637. The students will thank you!
